Wales is a beautiful country, it’s hard not to look out the window and be in complete awe at the amazing views. Even when you are in the small towns, you can see the hills and mountains all around you.

My Wales adventure started when I won tickets to the Sci-Fi Weekender so myself, my hubby and our 2 best friends decided to make along weekend out of it. It was a chilled out 5 days but we had so much fun that Wales has a special place in my heart now.

If you are looking for a real break away from everything and stay in the middle of nowhere surrounded by fields, a cottage in Wales is the way to go. Lots of peace and quiet to recharge the batteries but you will need to have a car as you will be miles from any shops haha.

If you prefer to camp, that’s not a problem as we saw loads of camp sites and they all have fantastic views.

You were never at a loss for things to do in Wales, you might have to do a bit of driving to get there but there is plenty to do.

Our nearest activity park was Glasfryn Parc and I think that if we did everything they had to offer, we would have ended up spending the whole 5 days there.

If exploring towns is more your thing, you aren’t at a lose of those either. They may be dotted around but there are still plenty of them to find and enjoy for the day.
